Description

We are pleased to announce that ASAP 2026 will be held as an entirely in-person event at Imperial College London, United Kingdom, on September 3–4, 2026.

This conference continues a distinguished tradition of bringing together researchers and practitioners at the forefront of application-driven computing systems, architectures, and processing technologies.

The history of the ASAP conference dates back to 1986, when it originated as the International Workshop on Systolic Arrays in Oxford, UK. It subsequently evolved into the International Conference on Application-Specific Array Processors, reflecting the rapid advances in specialized computing architectures. The conference adopted its current title in 1996, when it was held in Chicago, USA. Since then, ASAP has maintained a strong international presence, traditionally alternating between Europe and North America, and has established itself as a premier venue for research on application-specific computing.

ASAP 2026 marks a return to the UK, celebrating four decades of innovation and community building in application-specific systems and architectures.

ASAP continues a distinguished tradition of bringing together researchers and practitioners at the forefront of application-driven computing systems, architectures, and processing technologies. This conference will feature topics spanning the following areas:
Emerging Technologies in Systems, e.g., optical computing, 3D devices and interconnects, memristors for storage and logic, in-memory computing, quantum computing
Accelerator Design, e.g., AI, big data, computational genomics, finance, network processing
Application-Specific Instruction-Set Processors and Architectures
Approximate and Autonomous Computing Systems
